What is it?

The Ottawa Community Data Consortium is a member of the national Community Data Program run by the Canadian Council of Social Development.

Through a co-operative model, the Community Data Program reduces the cost of acquiring community data, builds community data analysis capacity, and connects a national network of data users. There are over 20 Data Consortia in cities across Canada, with more than 400 member organizations and over 1,000 registered users. The Ottawa Community Data Consortium is managed by the Social Planning Council of Ottawa.
